The Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and ambitious part-time goalkeeping coach to join our team.
You’ll work with goalkeepers aged 7–18 in a fun, professional, and challenging environment — helping them develop technically, tactically, and mentally while representing CHGK’s values and coaching standards.
This is an ideal opportunity for a developing coach who wants to gain experience within a professional coaching environment and grow as part of an expanding academy network.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and progressive goalkeeper coaching sessions.
Support and challenge goalkeepers to improve their technique, decision-making, and game understanding.
Plan and record sessions in line with CHGK’s training curriculum.
Provide clear, constructive feedback to players and parents.
Liaise with the CHGK coaching team regarding player development and trialists.
Represent CHGK’s standards, behaviours, and values both on and off the pitch.
Desirable Qualifications
Education / Certification
FA Level 1 or Level 2 Goalkeeping Coaching Licence (minimum).
FA Emergency First Aid in Football.
Enhanced DBS Check.
Experience
Previous experience coaching goalkeepers in academies, clubs, or development centres preferred.
Confident communication and session delivery skills.
Passionate about developing young players and continually improving as a coach.
Hours & Pay
Sessions typically run between 6pm–8pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays.
Flexible scheduling available
£15–£35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
